Hi all! So, Rocio's sketches are moving pretty quickly (I believe the $25 level is sold through), but fellow Spinnerette (and new White Heron) artist Fernando Furukawa (chapters 7 and 11) will also be in attendance at ACen and wanted to offer himself for sketch services as well. You can see his samples below - just click to take a look at which sketches are still open!
Fernando sketches
Yes, you CAN get both artists in one book if you want. Again, please just E-MAIL me so that I can make note! ALL SKETCH options will close on Sunday so I can start shipping to folks on Monday!!!!!
I'll also be sending a separate batch of surveys out to the Limited Edition backers so that I can collect your book numbers.
Finally, if you are going to be around for ACen, you are welcome to request ACen pick up for all Kickstarter rewards. Just let me know in the next couple of days!
I'm starting to package books for shipping, so expect books and other items over the next few weeks. I'll keep you informed as to my progress! See you all soon!
The face of exhaustion after moving 3000 lbs of books into my garage! Ooof!

Howdy from Calgary, home of the Stampede. We're hanging out at booth D09 this weekend, please come say hi!
So, why am I updating in the midst of a busy convention? Well, Rocio has made an offer and I wanted to pass it along to you! Since the books were delayed, shipping is actually going to nearly coincide with Rocio's appearance at Anime Central (yep, she and Fernando will be joining us at the Spinnerette booth in Chicago in just a few weeks!!!) Rocio has offered to do a limited number of sketches in Backer's books. Her time is fairly limited since she's only with us for one weekend, but we are going to figure out a set number of sketches she can fulfill (probably between 25 and 50). The cost for sketches will be $10 for a simple sketch and $25 for a more complex sketch (see examples).
I will try to set up this on BackerKit, but I'm honestly not sure if I can add something after "locking" the surveys, so this MIGHT end up being in the Spinnerette shop instead. I will be figuring out the logistics when I get home, so keep your eyes peeled. All proceeds from this add-on will go directly to Rocio, so thank you in advance for supporting her work!!

Ready for pick up!
A big batch of Mecha Maid statues (and a couple Spinnerette statues) went out in the mail today. Another big batch goes tomorrow! If you haven't filled out the BackerKit survey, PLEASE check your e-mail so I can get you your rewards!
In other good news, the books have arrived in Chicago! We're working with our printer to get a pallet to our house so they can ship. We leave for Calgary on Thursday, so we will not be able to take delivery of the pallet until next week, but expect books shortly after we return! We ARE trying to at least go pick up a couple boxes so that we have them for pick up at Calgary Expo this weekend, so please feel free to swing by the table if you will be in attendance!
I'll be giving a panel on Kickstarter on Friday at the Expo, so please come visit if you're around! I'll (hopefully) have books available for pick up at the panel as well as the table!
See you soon!

On our shelf!
Alright, so half of our stuff has arrived... Mecha Maid statues! Yay! I'm still waiting on books, but the latest info is that the boat with our books should be making port this week, so I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes smooth smooth smooth with the port and books will move quickly to Chicago so I can ship them out!
In the meantime, I just placed a huge shipping supplies order, so I can start prepping envelopes and labels.
I'm also going to start shipping Mecha Maid and other statues. I will start with the "ship it now" and U.S. backers and hopefully by the time I'm through with those, the books will arrive so that I can ship books and statues together overseas :)
Thank you to those of you who visited us at Anime Boston, we loved seeing you!
